Two WhatsApp Accounts on One iPhone

Two WhatsApp Accounts on One iPhone

WhatsApp just rolled out multi-account support for iPhone users, letting you manage two accounts on one device without needing a second phone. Here’s what’s new and how to set it up.

Finally, It’s Here

The feature is rolling out with WhatsApp for iOS version 26.22.76. It arrives after months of testing, bringing iOS up to speed with Android (which got this back in 2023).

How to Use It

Adding a second account takes just a few taps: Go to Settings > Account and tap Add Account, then register a second number or link an existing account with a QR code.

Once set up, each account keeps its own chats, notifications, and privacy settings separate from the other. You can switch between them without logging out—just long-press the You tab in the bottom-right corner.

What Else Is New?

WhatsApp is also testing scheduled messages on iOS and a scam alert system that flags suspicious content.
